Masumi Sōda (宗田 真澄 Sōda Masumi) is the deceased brother of Manatsu Sōda and Mayura Sōda who is a triplet.
Appearance[]
Masumi's appearance is similar to Manatsu Sōda as they both have brown hair and brown eyes, but Masumi's skin is slightly lighter than Manatsu.
Personality[]
Masumi has also a very playful personality who sometimes likes to dress in girl's clothing much to chagrin of Manatsu Sōda (Masumi's identical brother). He is also very protective of his siblings and does his best to keep them safe when he can. And when his family is threatened, he can become serious and have a much darker personality.
He is flirtatious around Izumiko Suzuhara.
History[]
Masumi is the late brother of Mayura Sōda and Manatsu Sōda who died of a heart defect while taking an afternoon nap when he was six. After his death, he become a divine spirit and only Izumiko Suzuhara, Mayura and Manatsu can see him.
Abilities[]
Masumi has great spiritual powers where it is the sediment of Kuzuryuu Ookami (九 头 竜 大 神), a holy God in Togakushi, and he has the ability to devour other spirits during fights.
He also can inpersonate and replace Mayura Sōda and Manatsu Sōda.
Etymology[]
- The name Masumi means "real, genuine" (真) (ma) and "clear, pure" (澄) (sumi).
- Masumi's surname Sōda means "religion, sect, denomination, main point, origin, essence" (宗) (sō) and "field, rice paddy" (田) (ta/da), which literally means "religious rice field" altogether.
